1. Hi Amelie, 2022 is here and the EU Taxonomy has partially entered into force.
What is the focus for you at Storskogen?
Interpreting and applying the taxonomy in practice is something of a challenge and I look forward to seeing a practice emerge in the coming years.
The focus for us right now is to support the companies we have identified activities at, in understanding what to report and how to get the data.
2. At Storskogen you have invested heavily in training your staff since autumn 2021.
What impact do you want to achieve with this major training effort?
Wesee knowledge and education around sustainability as a critical success factor for all our work, not least our sustainability work.
It doesn't matter what I do as sustainability manager if employees lack knowledge and understanding of sustainability.
So, the impact we want to achieve is for our employees to develop their sustainability skills to be able to integrate sustainability into their area of work. This will give us the prerequisite to achieve our ambition to ensure that Group companies live up to their potential as long-term viable companies that are at the forefront of offering a sustainable proposition.
3. In addition to climate and environmental issues, what other sustainability areas are particularly in focus in 2022 and why?
Humanrights given upcoming legislation and as part of the taxonomy through the so-called minimum safeguards. If you look at our main risks around human rights violations, I would think that the supply chain will also be a focus this year.
